When your property sells, the title company will take care of the final water bill for the property and provide information for the new buyer.

If you are renting out your home, the owner’s name will stay on the account and the owner will continue to receive a bill. The District can add a renter contact to the account to have a bill mailed to the renter at the property address.

A mid-cycle water bill can be done for an account when a renter moves out and a new renter moves in. The owner of the property must contact the District to request a meter reading and a mid-cycle bill, as well as setting up a renter contact.
